"So, how the 2020 Recruitment Plan going?"

"On target Sir! ..though we are having to sign them by age 4. Much after that and they can work out what a crap deal it is.
I say 'sign', in practice we accept a hand print in blue or black poster paint."

hat-tip, Nutty!

A nod to 70's BBC2 Play School

There's bogies everywhere.

Now this is what I want to be when I grow up, a lawyer. I could get used to this on someone else's tab.

Commencing 2015 aviation studies shall be conducted for all
grades in echelons ascending to flight levels. Toddlers and pre-schoolers
in rejuvenated DC-3s . . . . . higher and graduate studies in
Concorde and Space-Shuttle simulators. For the younger students
the singing and chanting of happy little refrains and skipping songs shall be encouraged.

Such as "FIVE. . FOUR. . THREE TWO ONE . .. WE HAVE RIP-OFF"

or "ONE FELLATOR. . TWO FELLATOR . .. THREE FELLATOR . FOUR .. "

The curriculum here is a wide one, boys and girls. You shall learn many things useful to a career in aviation. How not to crash. How not to be found out. How as even junior PPRuNers you can acquire profound insights into
character. How to spot a shonk at a hundred metres, for instance.
But on the positive side, tap into a vast fund of specialist knowledge
on a miriad of subjects. There is much to be found there too, from
men and women who contribute fascinating posts relating to their long
years of service in civil or military aviation.

Maybe you will be an ace at coming up with short, pithy captions to go with
random photographs.

Drop zone in three minutes..
Now, everybody must be attached to their static-lines - and that means you too, Johnny.
Are you paying attention, Belinda?

Good post, Fantome.

Thank you Stanwell Park in my drive anytime

Did think about how the Sellars sketch of reading to the children in the park in Balham . . four square on the northern line . . . as in -

"Norah felt his hot breath on her cheek, as he ripped the thin silk . . . ."

might be adapted. . . but then thought better of it

The kids in the plane are light years from those who learned from
'The School of the Air' with pedal wirelesses linking their outback stations
with base stations like Alice Springs and Cloncurry

RAF trial delayed puberty drug, when it was realised they could save money by issuing VAT free uniforms and child portion meals for aircrew.
