I am sure they will be happier flying the Bravo or the Hawker 400 without APU 3 to 4 legs a day as CPT for 5400 month net without pension with a pay raise every year equal to OCDE inflation meaning your income will not progress but is even not garantee...
this is not about Netjets / Easy competition... we talk about salary and benefits in that competition on long term or short term, today Netjets is behind , knowing that everyone can found a shoe who will fit his foot so to speak !

I've always wondered why Netjets always compared themselves to easyJet.
A proponent of one would hardly hanker after the other and only a small minority of pilots would switch from one to the other purely on the basis of the package. Not many 737 or Airbus pilots would make the step 'down'.
Netjets recruitment strategy was often to target disillusioned easyJet crew when in reality the majority of airline pilots see little attraction in that side of aviation.
A waste of effort really.

Well , I am presently airline (yes ,a proper one in the EU ) and can't wait to get away from this outfit.
The overall package NJE offers is way better than my present employer will ever be able (or willing ) to offer.
I really don't care how big that restaurant is they bolted to the cockpit , as long as the package is o.k.
You can keep the NG's and 3-series Bus if flying these means that I will only live to work my @rse off.Pension or not.

I know many pilots who wants to "step down" from a 737 or A320 to NetJets. Most of them are sick of short turnarounds, and flying the same destinations.
Personally, I left an A330 to come to NetJets and I never regretted this. This is more fun and I have a better quality of living.
The aircraft size doesn't matter at all!!
Comparing NetJets with Easy is comparing apples with pears. Yes they earn more but they fly every day the same desinations with the same low-cost passengers...

I am one of the above, and have been considering "stepping down" for many months. Application will be going in this January.
Many of the attractions (in my eyes) of airline flying have been eliminated by low cost operators such as my present outfit.
I look forward to the chance of regaining some of them, notwithstanding the inevitable pay cut ( though not so big as it was, due to the appreciating euro).

Flinty.....i don't think Netjets has ever compared itself to Easyjet.
A few pilots have indeed hankered after the short haul, lo-co lifestyle and gone there, more than one or two have applied to come back!
Netjets do not target easyjet crews for recruitment....they prefer nimrod drivers!......so there!

scambuster old fruit.
As an ex-member of the Netjets Europe interview panel (six years in the company, two years on the panel) I can assure you they DO use easyJet for comparison purposes. As CL300 says you'd do well to revisit old company documentation. For some considerable time they did nothing but compare 'the best deal in the business' to easyJet and put considerable effort into poaching their pilots.
easyJet upped the ante and Netjets had to take Nimrod crew as a last resort

Flintstone,
Question - What is NetJets looking for in the interview? What are NetJets looking for before that vital contract for an FO position on the fleet?
I don't want to go into repetitive things, considering I have all qualifications, and all flight hours that one would find suitable for employment, what do you want from me in the interview?

The entire selection process will be changed next year. It looks like it will be a three day effort then.
No details yet, so spare your questions.
And Yes: It will become tougher to get in.
And No: I dont know how they want to fill their open slots.

It will become tougher to get in you say...
and what about their new aircraft? They needs pilots... a lot of...
In my experience high numbers in a short period = low quality = low level selection.
What do you think about?
