Allow: Hard to predict . . . Propably long haul for two years or so to collect age and experience. Unlikely BRAVO or 400 those are normally fast track commandships.

Highwaves: How come?? UPG or UPS done??? Very Strange

Interview Paris

Does anybody have the latest on type of simulator used for testing i Paris? Glass or steam gauges?
Also could one expect SID STARS and APP to one of the Paris airports or world wide? (and before you ask, yes i have read ALL the 1298 posts in the thread. and no you do NOT have to fly the thing for me... hmm maybe you could, do they ask for ID?) Also if someone could point me in the right direction for info regarding transport between the Paris Airports. I most likely will arrive via CDG and leaving via Orly.

SCROLL LOCK

The fact that they won't hold you to it. Unless you are still in your initial bonding period. For those who have been in the company for greater than that time, have upgraded and are offered a fleet change after lengthy time in service, there will be no bond.
That is what I was told by LIS.
Don't shoot the messenger....
But then again, I am just being naive !!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don t know if you are naive but you haven t read the contract properly and yes you are now bond for every new type rating !!

DIRECT from the CEO this morning at 0815z..

"NO, you are not bonded if changing fleets AFTER your initial rating bond period"

Or are you now calling him naive aswell.?

I'm an old Capt with a new contract.

New type rating....................No bond.

And I know no one who has been issued a new bond. But maybe I'm being naive too.

falconbis is right!

New contract say you are bonded for every new type rating, regardless of years in the company.

Cheers,

As my ol man used to say...
'you can't help those who won't help themselves' !

Let falconbis rant on.
He's only a petty miscreant after all.

At the risk of being seen to make a sensible post could this discrepancy be explained by something simple like old or incorrect contracts being sent out?

Let's be honest, it wouldn't be the first time.

Me honest.......never.

It states that I will be bonded for a new type but, I wasn't sent any paperwork as stated in the contract. I guess I wasn't bonded......and I know no one who was.

So, I gather you are referring to a screening which is taking place this weekend? Maybe then someone can confirm the information? I still wonder how much they can change and still keep the time-frame within approx. ten hours?

Does anyone know whether the simulator of choice in Farnborough is always the B1900?

Best regards,
