I've always wondered why Netjets always compared themselves to easyJet.
A proponent of one would hardly hanker after the other and only a small minority of pilots would switch from one to the other purely on the basis of the package. Not many 737 or Airbus pilots would make the step 'down'.
Netjets recruitment strategy was often to target disillusioned easyJet crew when in reality the majority of airline pilots see little attraction in that side of aviation.
A waste of effort really.
Flinty.....i don't think Netjets has ever compared itself to Easyjet.
A few pilots have indeed hankered after the short haul, lo-co lifestyle and gone there, more than one or two have applied to come back!
Netjets do not target easyjet crews for recruitment....they prefer nimrod drivers!......so there!
