Morning all.

I'm in for some of that too. Graeme knows I just love "bits" of aeroplanes.
It certainly adds interest.

So where are we now on challenges?

BTW Graeme, check inbox.

Photo in post 6843

Umm, I'm confused. Is the aeroplane in #6843 a Short Seamew? It looks remarkably unlike one. Of course, I may just be confused--it's happened before.

Evening LM,

I think the partial shots will add a little variety, good idea Graeme

RR and Bradenav, It does indeed look Russian and I think it's a Lebed Xll recconnaissance aircraft 1915?

Curiously enough, on checing out my hunch, it seems like the side view photo on Aviastar's Lebed Xll page seems to show what looks like an Anatra D, but the others are correct.

Working late tonight and off home soon, so Open House please if correct.

G'day Sinco. Like Richard I thought LM's challenge was the Anatra DS but your Lebed 12 answer fits perfectly and yes, Aviastar's bottom photo is not a Lebed. Easy mistake though by the look of them. According to one source the Lebed 12 originated from a captured Albatoss B.II ?

Evening/morning all/Mate.

Good call TC, as confirmed by Graeme.
I didn't get the pic from Aviastar though.

TC has declared Open House, but might be home by now. If not, I rather feel that the night shift might throw up a close encounter of the third kind.....
