Then with that front windscreen it has to be the Capelis XC-12 surely....

I thought,that I had seen it somewhere, but I hadn't. Was thinking of a Fischer -something.

The R2Y that had to start with a prop before the jet was ready? (See "Secret Japansese aircraft of WW2" on discovery channel for background on the R2Y). RR

Now there was a great British actor.

This was a projected aeroplane........

Personally I think the wing leading edge has a familiar look about it...

Hi mate. From East to West? An East German design? It looks like some sort of ground attack design.

Actually I thought it was the North American FBT when I first saw it.

Hi LM,

The engine configuration, which must have been very cozy for the pilot, reminds me of the Fairy Torpedo bomber twin-Merlin project to spec 0.21/44 but that had a different profile aft of the cockpit canopy
