Obviously I haven't seen The Spy Who Came in from the Cold in yonks. I just thought he was a spy based in East Germany. Personally I thought Burton was overrated, but everyone's a critic.
It's got a radiator in the leading edge, and a certain Fairey design had the same.
As far as I know, that didn't have a contra-rotating prop.

I think that came from the page you got the image from, the page below shows the projected torpedo bomber with the contra-props, although neither got built.
