I'll leave you guys to discuss your Swedish vegetable fetishes...bit of a turnip for the book though!

Dragging you back to the challenge....you'll be disappointed to learn its not Swedish.

Hi skytrain,

That was a tough one, I was just about to give up and go home when I think I found it.

Pretty sure it's the Russian Engels II Marine Fighter, circa 1917.

If correct, then Open House please as I'm offline now until later tomorrow.

Well done Sinco, it is indeed the Engels II . The downturned wing tips doubled as floats.

SincoTC has declared Open House....any takers?

First thought....the Fisher Dakota Hawk..?

There again no, the wing struts would show from the angle of the picture.....

Morning skytrain.

It is indeed the Dakota Hawk. Apologies old chap, but I missed the one visible strut during airbrushing!

The thread is all yours.

Thanks David....I was beginning to wonder as I had struggled to find anything of that appearance that without a visible strut.

Anyway, I kind of like the look of this one, but I suspect it may go quickly:

An early model what? You've got to say it! I might have blocked out the canons to get my own back on the wing strut!!
