Good morning chaps!!!!

Thanks for the medical advice Graeme. I feel better now!

So far Sablatnic is closer, but then only two of you have posted anything! It wasn't a homebuilt by the way. Not American either.

One clue - the manufacturer still exists under the same name and now produces well known combat jets!

RR

Just highlighting a small fact, mate! So far no-one is on the "scent". I'll say that it was no German, though! RR

Now we're moving along... great......

In fairness I must say, as I've just discovered it, that the company produces major parts for current combat jets! Sorry.

Well, I'm none the wiser! As they are supplying parts to Russian fighters that are still produced I guess that limits them to either Sukhoi or MiG? I cannot see that the engine manufacturers produced aircraft in their past lives.

As a song once went:

"I've been everywhere man"

Don't forget Irkut, Kamov, Klimov, Volga et al.

I'll share that wall with you.

I can see a long ridge from where I'm sitting. I'm going out for a while to run around it.

OK,OK.....

The company was formed in 1893. They built Cars, bicycles and aircraft. The aircraft were primarily foreign designs "re-designed"!

They now produce parts for MIGs and build air-to-air missiles....

Now, come on.......

I'm actually going to back track. As far as I can see they do still produce whole aircraft!!!!! Sorry but the information is a little sparse and difficult to cross-check....
