TsKB-23.
Anyway a good one.
Stand-by
Attaboy Ken - keep the bastards guessing!
I'm out soon - perhaps "500" might solve it - he will fall out of bed soon!
For what it's worth, I think this is another Yank.

my book on Russian aircraft lists it under Grigorovich!
Interesting machine...designed to kill Basmachi rebels in Soviet Turkestan.

Morning Graeme
....it does look long I agree
....its just a white rod/line! No, its a tie down.
....no idea. I'll check and revert on that....edit to say "at least 2"
Regarding the ShON. See my other post.....
Certainly in the Osprey tone (which I would regard as the most reliable source) its listed as Grigorovich although it is referred to under Polikarpov. Wiki has it as Polikarpov (Polikarpov R-5 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
Very long fuselage?
What's that white rod/line just in front of the spats?
How many built mate?
Regarding the ShON. See my other post.....
TsKB is the Central Design Bureau, and various manufacturers built TsKB designs

may I assume that this is a homebuilt?

C'mon mate, you're amongst friends, give us a precise year.
I will also tell you that its name is quite appropriate considering where it comes from.
Be back later this morning so will check-in then.
