Wittman Tailwind!
That's the sort of thing I've been looking for, where the cockpit window angle and the top cowling angle are almost the same. Then a thought occurred to me (they sometimes do), that the starboard wing is interfering with the silhouette outline?

Morning LM,

Another quick shot before starting work!

Is it a Murphy product, maybe a Maverick? Some seem to have the right shape of UC legs and spats

Morning TC.

Not the Maverick.

Jamesel

Welcome. Not the Bush Caddy either.

Looks like I'll have to be sticking to my 24 hour rule soon.

Another (big) clue shortly.

You didn't say that it wasn't a Murphy though! So is it a Rebel ? There seem to be so many little variations!

Have to go now so OH if correct, but I doubt it is.

The name of the manufacturer forms the first part of the name of a well-known German car maker, and its' name is shared with a famous British WW2 fighter.

Good challenge LM...and well done RR.
Now I know why it reminded me of Aero Boreo AB-115...its virtually identical...just a slightly longer nose and the wing struts are positioned further forward.
What you got for us RR...?

Good news Martin! Scientific studies have shown that once day can prevent Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy.

By the way, welcome back!
How about this one?
From memory you were a fan of Aerofiles? So I'll start with American and most likely a homebuilt from the 30's? Mind you, my guesses have been lousy lately!
