Wow; not much movement on RR's "gasbag" overnight!!

I had a good trawl of images last night before I went home but found sweet FA. There can't be that many Blimps with a a "taxi wheel" (if that's what it is?) combined with a suspended cabin/car! Time for a more serious search

Thought it might be!

Something by Alexander Belov? Maybe what is referred to as SSSR-V1?

I went through these last night, but went back for another look in the light of the year.

Is it the dirigible "USSR-V3 - "Red Star" or the "USSR-V2 - "Smolny"?

But the fin shapes look wrong to me!

But Skytrain has pipped me to it if is the V2, coz I added the "or" after I went back for a closer look!

SincoTC has it.

The V-3 "Krasnaya Zvezda" (Red Star) Soviet Union 1932 Dirigible, which originally had a length of 63.5 meters, a total weight of 3 tonnes and a speed of 100 km/h, maximum altitude 3500 meters, powered by two engines 240 h/p each.

Hi Lightning Mate
It looks like something flown by Alexis Maneyrol, but I'm not sure of the model number. Maybe the SFCA Peyret Taupin Type VI

I've been away for the week, and clearing snow today!

Welcome back Mechta.

Stop clearing snow for a moment and throw something up.

The Peyret Taupin, but a slightly different look about this one:

You have control.

If that was the Taupin IV, I guess the three view might have been an earlier model. I was drawn to it as Maneyrol flew a tandem wing design at the 1922 Itford Gliding competition and won the duration prize in it.

Anyway, see how you get on with this:

Well done Lightning Mate, got it in one! Its an 'Aeronautics Aerostar A' to be precise, as the current B models have a 'Smartie' impaled on the aerial containing a directional antenna (I happen to know this, as I was flying them earlier in the year!).

Mechta

Over to you!

Thanks Mate. It wasn't as easy as I thought when I first looked at it though.

You flew one earlier ????

Here's another one to ponder, although I don't think it will last long.
