Evening RR! Some Homebuilt designs circa 2004/05 that resemble the Cub...

The Light Miniature Aircraft LM 5X Super Cub.
The Zlin Savage.
The Skytec-Aircraft KK-05.
The Aviat Aircraft Husky Pup

Any possibilities with these?

sorry, no. RR

Sorry. a bit blunt! I didn't mean it that way! No, none of those offered so far are correct.

I think I'll offer the country next and then see who can locate it after that. I'll hang on another 15mins.

RR

Sorry RR. The comment about the Mossler was to Drawbarz, but you beat me to it. Still wonder about the cowl. What's inside. A Subaru maybe?
Think it is a GOOOD one you have brought us! ^_^

I've found it on a Russian site, but it isn't telling me much.

Does Aviastar mean anything?

Aviastar is the name of a web site, isn't it? For the important question, though, no its not that! It does appear on Russian sites, plus others. It appears oddly in photos on the web in two configs and with 2- and 3-blade props! As I said earlier it is on the Janes'.

I'm out for a couple of hours now so I'll leave it with you all.

RR

Don't give up LM.

Could it be something like Piper J3 Cub + Subaru EJ20 + Chernosvitov?

Chernosvitovis seems to be selling the prop gears for the Subarus. I guess. My russian never was much good.

It certainly looks like a J3 Cub.

The 3-bladed prop seems to called model RDC 002

I think, that I'll have to give up too.
The only rdc002 I get, is the reduction drive by Chernosvitov.
Full title of the gear is by now RDC 002/2 smart, of the types I, II and III. The same drive, but different gear ratios.
Include me out on this one. :-(

RR,

This is good stuff. In my opinion this sort of infuriating post is what makes this thread so interesting and alive.

I'm off to have some whisky(s). I'll come back to Profeshunull Polits Roomer Shoon.

LM, Have one (or two) for me! We haven't heard from Skytrain10 yet.... I'd hate to reveal it without his input. Carson is also quiet. How about if we don't have it resolved by 0900 UK time tomorrow I reveal it???? RR

I'll have one too. Or three. It is too dark to do more gardening tonight. Done my lawn and picked most of my nuts. Hazel it is.

Sorry guys, have been tied up with work today, so not had a chance to look in until about an hour ago. It doesn't feature in any of my books, which does not bode too well. Time for some internet research.
