Hi LM
Thanks for sending UAV pic by PM .
I have contacted today Janes website to try and get a subscription but my hair stood on end:
- on line subscription $ 3160
- CD subscription $ 2270
Unfortunately I can't afford that for a subscription but this might be useful for other members of the forum
cheers

Must be time for some clues?
The bloke who designed and built the aircraft above also invented the sliding car seat, built a car that has been described as the world's first mini-bus and played a large part in designing the Ford Trimotor.

Fuller? Nah. Did he help with the Ford. Think not. Nice, tough one.

"So now we all know that Ridge Runner has lots of dosh.........."
Not me, LM. I only said that it was on Janes'. i didn't say that I had access. If you search for the Saturn-Avia J3 you'll get a page from Janes come up which gves basic info and says that more can be gained from their info service.

In "Flight" of 17-4-1931 (or 4-17-1931 as you write in UK and few other unimportant overseas countries) it is simply called Stout Skycar (without any number) and it is an exact replica of Noyades ' silhouette (or better said Noyade's silhouette is an exact replica of Stout's contraption

I'm happy that system of writing dates is same in UK and in Italy. In USA it's instead month/day/year (and believe me in 60 years of reading and writing English I've come across one or two things and I've read many texts)...anyway I'm sure you understood that "unimportant countries" was obviously used in an ironical way...

Absolutely! Of course they view us, and anyone beyond the bounds of the western and eastern seaboards, as un-important too so why shouldn't we reciprocate! Personally I could do without them! Sleep well .... RR
Missed all the action, as usual. I don't want to be the biblical Solomon who suggested splitting the baby in half so looking at the edit times Lightning Mate stopped the clock at 1203 HRS with the Stout Skycar 1 and Carson at 1234 HRS.
LM has control.
(Was it Monty Python who believed that the winner should always be the girl with the biggest tits? )

Well I'll be damned, I thought I was going nuts!?
Did you guys know that the "Last edited" times toggle back and forth by one hour, depending on if you view the thread logged in or logged out?
Example. Logged in edit time for my post above is 01:17.
Logged out, the edit time is 02:17. Fascinating.
