I would say you have Ridge Runner, complete with off-set cockpit tail gun and observation cupolas on the fuselage either side under tailplane

This is most annoying. I stumbled accross this aircraft in search of Noyade's IPT-0 challenge. I remember as it reminded me a little of a fat Bowers Fly Baby....trouble is I cant recall what it was!! Must keep searching.

Like skytrain10, I have seen this aircraft recently. If only I could remember where! To start the ball rolling how about the Bowers Namu II?

Not a Bowers and i guess its clue time. The silhouette appeared in a publication dated March 1947. The designer/builder claimed it was for the "shallow pocketed" air enthusiast and it had a 25 h.p engine.

Wren Goldcrest it is - all 23 ft span of it. These are from "Flight" but the silhouette was from "The Aeroplane Spotter". Skytrain10 has control.

LM...ahh, you spotted that...well done!

Doug, there was, and indeed this is, the M1, designed in 1949 (as part of the development of the Vautour) for release from the top of a Languedoc. There are conflicting reports as to whether it ever flew, or more accurately, glided.

Back to you One11....
