Hi Skytrain10!

The layout for this one is quite different from the Arrow. the CF-105 had shoulder-wings, for example, and multi-wheel bogies for the main gear.

Well guys,

I'm a jet fighter jock from the sixties, and this one beats me. I've looked at all I can think of, including the ones you mention above.

Looking at the time in Australia, I feel we'll have to wait until tomorrow and maybe get some clues - sure need them!

This is one of those modern jet type thingies, about which I know nothing. However, could it be the experimental Sukhoi P-1?

We're all wrong so far methinks.

The only T-tails I can think of are the F104 and the Voodoo, and neither bear any resemblance to this machine.

G'day Noyade. How are you?

Morning Guys, and goodnight to you all!

Well done evansb, the Grumman XF12F-1 which lost out to the Phantom. Control is yours.

RR's illustration from Aerofiles was the one I intended to upload when revealed. I don't think it even reached a mock-up stage(?) This was the original line drawing...

The only two a/c that come to mind looking at the drawing, might be a ME109 or a Gloster Meteor

No way dazdaz.

The Me 109 was a single piston and the Meteor was totally different.

Keep trying, as we all are at the moment.

Looks just like the Il-28 Beagle except for the non-swept tailplane.

I can think of a few that had a similar outline, but in each case the wing or tailplane configuration is wrong. One that I have only read about, but not seen a photograph of, is the Campini Caproni S.C.3. Could it be this one?

Wild guess, as it is only a plan view, the uncompleted Sukhoi Su-10 perhaps.
