Still no takers? Here are another couple of clues.

The engine was a 100hp Hispano-Suiza 6Pa. When the first prototype proved to be underpowered the company improved it and used a 120hp Lorraine 5Pc unit. This new model was still underpowered and the project was abandoned.

As Mel says, Lightning Mate has hit the nail on the head, it is the SAB DB 80. Designed by the firm of Dyle et Bacalan as a Mail 'Plane, it as one of the last to bear the DB designation as they were taken over by SAB. However, this project continued under the DB name.

Over to you sir.

P.S. Afternoon to you too RR.

Hi LM. Do biplanes make the job harder? This one looks like the Letov S328.

Good afternoon/evening Noyade.

"Do biplanes make the job harder?"

It's all the detailing like the struts etc.

It is indeed the Letov S328.

Over to you.

LM

Good afternoon/evening
Thanks LM. Yeah, the time zones tend to throw me at times. Unfortunately I can't respond to posts until approximately 1600 HRS tomorrow (18th), so if the answer is obvious, just frog-jump me and press on regardless.

I think it may be an aeroplane which was in competition against the Kaiser.

Curtis XBTC-1 (model 96) ?

Been absent for a while due work commitments...

I would agree with Walter-Karl, the Kaiser-Fleetwings XBTK-1.
