Isn't it a little odd? BA, CX, JL, NH etc will already know who is flying on their existing long haul operations out of LHR, FRA, MUC etc from the MAN area, some will be ex LH, BA starting their journey at MAN today. Hence the market intelligence is already largely in place? Perhaps just MAG generating some PR and column inches, and why not at that?
Japan still hasn't really bounced back IMHO. Only issue with JAL or ANA might be a lack of onward feed in MAN as it's not a Oneworld or STAR hub but having said that, Cathay powered back in doing very well so who knows?

Says when you try and book, the MAN - BGW stops in Sulaimaniya
And the return stops in Sulaimaniya for an hour, AND Malmo for an hour and a half

Back in summer 2005 I flew to SFB from MAN on an all white 747 (not sure of the variant) then returned on one with Air Atlanta titles and possibly a blue tail (again not sure of the variant), does anyone know which anymore about this service or where I could find any more about this service as by the year after it had gone and we had to fly with MON. If possible I'm looking to find the two a/c I flew on but if not, just more info on this service would be great.
I apologise if this is the wrong thread, I didn't know where else to post it

TF- ARU must have been the one we flew out on as it seems it never had Air Atlanta titles. I always remember the green interior. I don't know why but I was expecting them to be -200's so I'm pleasantly surprised and happy ive flown on a 300 . Thanks for your help guys

AA Loads
Travelled on AA735 on 1/11 to PHL and the aircraft in the main cabin was about 80% full, there seemed to be lots of freight, not sure how many in the front end though. Came home overnight on the AA54 from ORD and the main cabin was 95% full again not sure about the front end. This aircraft was very tired inside and we arrived 2hrs 40 late, apparently brake problems. AA will have to up there game us to book with them again. Price for return to TPA was a deal maker for us

Domestic on the up. Will be interesting to see the detail. Presumably this is not a resurgence of demand to LHR but actually a demand for flights to and, importantly, via MAN.

Looking good for Airbus A350-900 (Seats:42 Business 187 Economy 24 Premium Economy) then?

in terms of capacity then, what is the initial decrease from the switch to A350? We all know and hope that it will mean daily but it does seem that there will be a drop first. Are current load factors sufficient to warrant daily A350?
The SQ 77W's currently on the route have 8 First, 42 Business and 228Y total of 278. Compared to the A350 with 42 Business, 187Y and 24 premium Y total of 253.
So there would be a loss of 8 First and 41Y, a gain of 24 premium Y which is currently not available, thus an overall loss of 25 seats.
Overall I would think Premium Y is an easier sell for MAN than First. And if a higher load factor and lower costs of the A350 gets us to a daily service more quickly then so much the better.
Anyone know how the Houston loads have been so far ?

SQ - Could it also be that there is no demand for 1st, so why incur the cost of offering it. When the route offers Y+, then that is a sign that MAN is getting the updated 77W or 350. From what I see old 77W to continue, but 1st not offered.
