DERRY/LONDONDERRY

Flybe announce codeshare from Donegal to Heathrow via DUB, will this have any affect on the LDY - STN numbers?

Loganair/BA Donegal

Sure they could've put the BA code share on the Donegal-Glasgow Route too, which would also affect FR PIK numbers

Too bad about the FR/SU Prestwick flights - with a little more effort, FR could have timed the flights differently to make sure that the departure to PIK is at a different time each day of the week

STN & PIK both diverted to Belfast Int this morning due to heavy fog at Derry. It seems both a/c repositioned back to Derry to take the PAX.

STN

Second flight STN - LDY on Mondays and Fridays seems to have vanished as of 1st July. Is this the beginning of the FR revenge on STN?

If I remember right then the same happened last Summer? I believe the Monday AM STN was removed from sale but was later added again. Possibly someone with a better memory could back this?

It has been confirmed on the Airport's social media site that Tenerife will not operate for 2013
I was sitting in Tenerife South yesterday delayed for two hours awaiting the Thomson Aldergrove flight and I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw that Thomson also operate to Durham Tees Valley.

Durham Tees Valley had 165K pax last year. Surely LDY could support a Thomson flight to TFS.

I suppose however the same two usual problems present: proximity to an existing flight in BFS and the presence of Ryanair at the airport with the possibility that they would recommence operating LDY to TFS.

I don't know much about BFS schedules so I can't say when they started to fly but I can state with certainty that they flew into BFS yesterday having previously flown out the previous week.

Not old, just a facetious plane spotting nerd.

I was on a Thomson jet with Thomson livery with a Thomson ticket for a Thomson package holiday bought from a Thomson website and the delay was announced as "Thomson airlines apologises ..."

So what part of having a TCX flight code would mean that it was actually a Thomas Cook flight and not a Thomson flight?

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck ...

And if it spots planes like plane spotter and posts on websites like a plane spotter ....

Perhaps you should join a plane spotting website but you should definitely get out more.

Noticed that as well Carnmanorlad.

Nothing bookable on Flybe site though.

I'm wondering if it is a charter for Primal Scream who are playing in Derry on Tuesday night?

Last top 10 single hit 2006, album 2008. Perhaps this music industry isn't as bad as it's painted.

Primal Scream and the London Symphony Orchestra are the only major events taking place in the coming days. Wonder will it be a dash or E series?
