The favourites menu will normally take on the width of the longest shortcut listed on there. Find the longest and rename it to a shorter length and the menu width should alter accordingly.

Have you tried changing the Interface Settings from Aviation In to either Garmin or NMEA?

I know some programs such as Autoroute require the NMEA protocol to be able to communicate with a GPS.

I knew they 'had' to be correct but I was 'blinded' by the NDBs, didn't think about the DME!!
