Farcebook Birthday Calendar
Does anybody know how to get rid of that infernal Birthday Calendar by Davia? I didn't sign up to it and most certainly did not give permission or express a wish for my photo to be added to it but Farcebook has gone ahead with both.

Sorry. It was suggested that I look at APPS which I did but it wouldn't let me do anything other than add information which I was not prepared to do. Eventually I looked at my profile, found a different link to APPS and was able to delete it from there - with all the usual rubbish about "Do you really want to etc." I persisted (it makes you read all sorts of things) and eventually it took the hint and disappeared.
It really annoys me when things like that just appear and assume that you will be so overjoyed that you won't be able to think of life without them and won't therefore need to kow how to delete them.

I never seem to have this problem. Maybe it is because I have never joined fa(r)cebook or tw(a)tter and in not so doing, they have none of my personal information stored on their (hackable) secure servers, thus my personal information cannot be hacked (or sold). It IS secure!

I never have this sort of problem, either.
Perhaps it's because I've disabled all 3rd-party apps for faceplant, and have the privacy settings fairly high.
Using Firefox with Noscript definitely makes a difference, as visiting a page hosting a 3rd party app (this isn't always obvious) is made very obvious because Noscript won't load the page 'till you allow it.
Big clue.
