ATC After dinner speech tape

If there are those amongst you who feel this post is out of place, please forgive me! Not sure where else this post would be better posted.

I have a very poor quality "tape of a tape of a etc" of an ex ATC man whose surname name I think is Gunson (he was a military flier at one time). It was an after dinner speech given to a load of bankers (yes I did mean bankers).

The whole speech is hilarious but is dying every time I listen to it. Anyone know if this recording exists out there in the market place. It is titled "What goes up..." but not sure if this is official or just a bootleg job.

Any info will be appreciated - some will be thinking that it is sad I only have a cassette player in the car but I still remember 8 tracks

Over use of the word "post" totally unintentional!

Go to Amazon.co.uk and in the search box type David Gunson.. You should get something about his tape "What goes up might come down". £7 seems a bit strong.. maybe someone on here will PM you.

Lastly, it's all TRUE I tell you!!!

It is a great tape and well worth a re-listen if you haven't heard it for some time.

I notice that Mr. Gunson is still out there and is "one of the most in demand after dinner speakers in the country." If this is so, presumably Mr. Gunson does have other speeches in his repertoire as just about the whole western world must have heard "what goes up might come down!"

My question is twofold...has anyone actually been to one of Mr. Gunson's after dinner events and two, has he ever released any such alternative speech on CD or tape? If not, why not?

Come on Dave...we all want you to do another one!

I have been to two dinners in the last 6 months where David was speaking and having heard the tape and him several times he is still very funny.

He is a fascinating chap and at the last dinner david was sitting on our table. I was in pain from laughing well before he got on stage.

Hilarious!

Just got my CD sent from Amazon, although I notice there are a couple going on Ebay at the moment...Hilarious.

The 747 flying lesson is priceless...If I pull the stick too hard, the tail will hit the floor, thus ripping the toilets out the back...with 500 people on board for 7 1/2 hours...

Radar controllers: You look after your 30 aircraft and then the tealady comes and pulls the three pin plug out the wall...You push the plug back in the wall and the picture will return. You will find 29 aircraft but not the last one...

Hehehe.
