Flights can still be full but not profitable. Its all down to the yeild that they get for the seats. If they are selling the seats cheap then it will be a low yeild so they will put the aircraft...

Skyleisure at shoreham do a very good FI course for just over £6K plus landing fees. Really good instructor and a nice airfield to fly from.

I wouldn't worry to much, the basics are the same, just certain bits of terminology differ, but not to a huge extent. US is more relaxed than UK, but does not take too long to get used to the UK...

I started at Thomsonfly or Britannia as it was then known when i was a uni, also know a few other crew who have done it. Its an easy possibility if you go for a charter airline

All scheduled bases will have a mix of flying as flights will carry both charter and scheduled pax together, this is part of the move towards Thomsonfly's mixed model flying.
