Not on all the 777’s I’ve flown. If you hit the TOGA button you get THR TOGA TOGA as modes. LNAV has to be manually selected above 400’.
Air France 777’s might be in a different mod state however.

Just to correct Enzo's figures, basic pay point 24(old scale)/34 (new scale) long haul skippers pay is £164k. Variables would amount to about another £20k pa. A TRE earns an additional 18% on basic....

I joined in 98 on the 777, with no long haul time, and did two 4 sector gulf trips, an Atlantic trip and then a route check. That was fairly normal at the time.
