I combined the BOM Manual of Aviation Meteorology (a clear, easy read) with the AIP and passed no problems.

Need to know high-altitude stuff particularly from GEN 3.5 (section 19 IIRC).

ATPL air law refs

Just did my ATPL air law exam last week, no CASRs required. In fact, didnt use anything except the CAOs, CAR & AIP.. just as well i didnt shell out for all the IFR charts they wanted me to bring....
