6 seater aircraft hire
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone could recommend to me any six seater aircrat for a good price, preferably a single engine, and where to get it from. Am looking around the Melbourne area. Bonanza's look good, but there aren't many around to my knowledge and I don't yet have an IFR. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Try a Lance
Try the RVAC Lance. I understand they are also able to arrange a cherokee 6 as well, which would probably be a more practical in terms of actually being able to carry 6 people.
Its away for painting at the moment, should be back soon though.

Thanks for the help. Are there many places around that hire out a Lance or cherokee 6? Know RVAC do, but any others? What kind of TAS would you expect and are both aircraft good at taking 6 pax plus baggage?
The bonanza's let down in that compartment with the aft CoG as is probably known.
Thanks again

Now that should trigger a response from the Chimbu Chuckler!
I have a total of about an hour in the A36 and I don't have access to the POH, but my understanding is that unless you are loading 6 big blokes, you have to work hard to get into C of G issues with the A36.
Unlike the V35B, which is arguably the best 3-place aeroplane around, and very easy to load out of its C of G once you fill the fourth seat.
A bigger issue with the A36 is where do you put the bags anyway!

Then again - I guess you could load all the bags into Woolies shopping trollies and the six of you could push them to your destination faster than you will get there in a Lance!
