Sorry guys, perhaps I should have stated that I not a military pilot, but commercial. Our IRS systems will not allign on the ground if the a/c moves, that got me wondering about aligning on a moving...

I seem to remember we had to have at least one a/c pack on if you selected the EXTRACT pushbutton to OVRD, to aid cooling of the E&E bay. I can't seem to find any reference for this.

In which non-normals should you use the FPV in the airbus? What does Airbus recommend?

I can only think of a dual RA fault, because you can't use approach mode therefore it's handy...
