Is it just me or is anyone else a little uneasy with all the news coverage of civilians making Molotov cocktails? This becomes pretty close to making the civilian population legitimate targets. If they are publicly seen to be aiding the Ukrainian armed forces they cease to be civilians and can be seen as irregular forces and fair game.
Granted this will always happen and should happen, I just don’t think it should be given press coverage. |
Tigr-m looks to be Russian equivalent to the Snatch Land Rover.

Ukraine reportingthat the Russian assault into Kharkiv has been fully repulsed.
Presumably the Russian column met its fate. |

TOS-1 being deployed towards Kyiv.

I wrote it earlier and write it again: I hope the NLAW's make it there and take those thermobaric weapons on convoy. Or that there would be some Bayraktar still flying that would take that out. Or a real Ghost of Kiev looking for the best bang for buck.
Those will multiply the civilian casualties from todays numbers once used in a city. |

The carpet bombing type flashes in the distance we saw occasionally as Russia pummelled Ukrainian infrastructure and airfields on that first night rather resembled what this TOS-1 does in the clip above. I wonder if it has already been used there? Or did masses of cruise missiles all land together?

If this in Bucha, it means Russia lost ground north of kyiv. |
These Russian forces may have the Mark of Zoro on their Vehicles but the Ukrainians appear to have the Mark of Caine.

Putin putting Russian nuclear forces on alert…
Putin: "Western countries aren't only taking unfriendly economic actions against our country, but leaders of major Nato countries are making aggressive statements about our country. So I order to move Russia's deterrence forces to a special regime of duty." |
Yes, it was a very explicit nuclear threat: “the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history” twitter.com/russianforces/… This all makes me nervous. Kremlin has no good off-ramps at this point and is looking at an existential threat to the current state
|
Putin has put his nuclear weapons on high alert.
I do wonder if that will be a wake up call to the Russian higher echelon to get rid of Putin before they all die. |
I am, for perhaps the first time in my life, truly frightened that a madman could start a nuclear war and kill us all.
