Can't find anything on Munich Re's website and don't believe it until proven.
Edit:thanks for the source. So the contract cancelled is just the insurance not the pipeline itself.

Scholz only announced the permission process is now put "on hold". Without the permission the pipeline cannot operate.

The video is very shaky up until the last few seconds

But, both of those tweets show a mixed regiment (?) as seems to be the norm in other videos showing helicopter forces.

Reportedly in region of Mariupol….

Once this war escalates and madness multiplies, many of those boys and girls in these videos will not be going home ever again.
All this because of a tired old man whose time went by decades ago.

I wouldn't trust anything I see on Twitter - there's loads of unverified footage which could have be filmed anywhere and at any time TBH. Lots of misinformation doing the rounds.

Or any media to be fair…..

BREAKING: EU sanctions will target key Russian "propagandists," such as the MFA's Maria Zakharova, RT's Margarita Simonyan and Rossiya-1's Vladimir Solovyov…

Pretty much sums it up. Applies to the girls and guys on both sides who don't get a choice. Senseless. Sad.

U.S. intelligence officials have revealed to Newsweek that President Joe Biden's administration has informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of intelligence assessing that Russia is preparing to conduct a full-scale invasion of the neighboring country within the next 48 hours.

"The President of Ukraine has been warned Russia will highly likely begin an invasion within 48 hours based on U.S. intelligence," the U.S. official with direct knowledge told Newsweek.

"Additionally," the U.S. official added, "reporting from aircraft observers indicates Russia violated Ukrainian airspace earlier today, flying possible reconnaissance aircraft for a short period over Ukraine."…..

The Pentagon's assessment includes Russian airstrikes, cruise missiles and ground invasion, according to the U.S. intelligence official.

The information was confirmed by a second U.S. intelligence official, who emphasized the comprehensive nature of the military operation the Pentagon anticipated from Russia.

The official told Newsweek that the invasion will include not only a push from the pro-Moscow rebel-held Donbas region in the east, where additional Russian units were sent Monday as peacekeepers, but also a major thrust toward the capital Kyiv from the northern border with Belarus, where Russian troops recently extended joint exercises with their ally.

The second U.S. official said that the operation would likely occur at nighttime and include be preempted by cyber attacks, but both officials maintained that Russia's plans could change based on daily developments….

Here is a question, could the Ukraine not invite the UN in as peacekeepers in their held territories in the disputed area.

With Russia on the Security Council, and holding a veto to any UNSCR, Ukraine could try but it's unlikely that they'd get a favorable result.

if the right oligarks are chosen. By seizing the fortunes of the billionaires Putin has made, the billions Putin has hidden may be seized.
Otherwise... I doubt it. It takes too long for sanctions to bite, most probably he'll be lying in his own mausoleum in red square before the sanctions get him overthrown. Just look at North Korea, Iran or Cuba. What has sanctions really achieved in those countries in over half a century,

As I suggested in #1179, blockade Kaliningrad,Russia`s only Baltic ice-free port,block all airspace,and it`s borders.....

There was talk of potential war crimes against Putin, which would negate anymore future travel out of country and that would also hit the oligarchs and the Dumas harder if it was also aimed at them as a lot of them spend a considerable time out of Russia
