That occurred to me as well. It looks to me as if it was cut with a disc cutter or military explosive cord?

More on Herr Flicks tank factory visit. Ironic isn't it, they can't get parts now from the west, which includes the electronics etc, so production has slowed and it is the officials fault because of sanctions imposed of the country due to the poisoned dwarfs actions..

Virtually any motorcycle engine would be good enough for a drone.

Something has blown up rather spectacularly in st Pete.

Officials have no idea what it was, fontanka.ru says either chemicals/paints or fuel. At least 1000m2 on fire.

Locals report "claps". That is an odd phenomena. Most conflagration's sort of crackle... Some bang away repetitively, some whistle like kettle's. But clap?

The 6th floor window beckons, Vlad; when the locals clap on the demise of their own infrastructure, it may be time to avoid high places.

"st Pete"
Anyone care to guess where that is, because the OP was too flippant to explain. I daresay he knows. Shame we don't!

1000m2 on fire? Wow. The size of a very small local DIY store. Is burning the local Travis Perkins now a tactical matter then?

A little harsh there meleagertoo. I have to say that I immediately understood it to be St Petersburg (Russia). The post is supported by photos. It actually looks like more than 1000m2 to me. With other things mysteriously going "bang" in Russian cities of late, it's fair news.

Considering Europe has cut itself off from Russian gas and appears it has no interest in ever again putting itself in the position of being held to ransom by Russia, I cannot fathom Putins desire for this.. who will buy it and fund his war?

Turkish gas hub - what a replacement for Nord Stream to help Europe solve their Energy Crisis

AlvinAlexa10/25/2022 02:03:00 PM0
In mid-October Russia’s President Vladimir Putin proposed to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to create a gas hub in his country. Today 25th of October the Turkish Energy Ministry said that Ankara and Moscow had reached an agreement in principle on the gas hub, and the Turkish side had already started doing its part. Let us examine the details of the future project in more detail.

The proposal was announced after the sabotage of the Nord Streams, due to which Russia lost the opportunity to sell its energy resources to Europe. The main problem, however, is that the undelivered gas is simply burnt and the gas storage facilities are full. The situation when Russia spend money on producing gas but cannot sell it is detrimental to Russia. That is why the Russian Federation had to find buyers of their gas - those were the same European countries that were left without Russian blue fuel after the terrorist attack. Now the opportunity for the resumption of supplies has been found - it is Turkey.

Two branches of the Russian gas pipelines, the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream, have already been laid to Turkey. Russia’s gas is already delivered to Europe via Balkan Stream. The total capacity of the Russian pipelines is about 39 billion cubic meters a year, whereas they lost about 59 billion cubic meters a year to Nord Stream. This loss can only be compensated by building new infrastructure, which is what their president was talking about.

One has to very careful when demolishing structures made from stressed concrete as the reinforcement bars, which are under tension, tend to let go rather spectacularly, hurling bits of concrete for considerable distances. The bigger the structural member, the bigger the pieces of flying concrete. Sleepers are quite small components and the concrete covering relatively thin, so when the reinforcing rods let go, there will not be much concrete left surrounding them.

Don't try breaking one up with a sledge hammer, it will not end well for you

These warnings will presumably be followed up with Stalin era 'show trials' if the production quota's are not met.

These guys really are still stuck in the 20th century.
