The city is "completely empty," and the Ukrainian flag raised by local partisans still flies high, Luhansk Governor Serhiy Haidai said on Telegram.

They are even admitting the Kharkiv defeat on Russian TV

It was reported last night that the Ukes had reached the P66 road which runs through Kremmina. There was also a report that Lyman was still in Russian hands, contrary to rumours suggesting it too had fallen.

The trouble with running... sorry, withdrawing, is you eventually have to stop and dig in, a difficulty in itself when you have left a lot of your defensive capability behind and the opposition is right up your arse.
Still if they eventually reach that defensive line they should be ok, Ukraine i would imagine will stop at the border :E

I remember reading that "A good Army is one that can retreat in good order". Russian troops have been routed.

How to sound positive while also admitting they're screwed.

"We're losing an enormous number of people. We have wounded. We're having.... great successes"
