Alternative to A-10 wing replacement is tested successfully but funding stays an issue.

In the planning office for HS2 this thread was mandatory reading ....just before the Government announced the cancellation of the project due to unspecified design issues...

Amazing, A state of the art warbird, A state of the art military transport and we have all ground to a halt because the two locally sourced plywood "interfaces" are 8 foot too short.
