The BOI later reported the accident was caused by a Fox Strike...

F-700: DEFECT: Suspected Birdstrike. RECTIFICATION: No evidence of birdstrike found. Canon 70-300 zoom found in RH aileron horn. Removed, RTS.

Hell of a climb just see one single (sparrow)hawk complained Nutty. That'll never get me into the BBC Wildlife calendar 2024...
