The unexpected consequence of this flight path was the lowering of the transit speed to 80Kts to permit waypoint identification....

F-700: DEFECT: Suspected Birdstrike. RECTIFICATION: No evidence of birdstrike found. Canon 70-300 zoom found in RH aileron horn. Removed, RTS.
