Thanks Nutty for putting up the pic - I was only 11 but I remember the news on those days quite well…

Some brilliant responses – I don’t know what Kilty’s doctor prescribes but if it’s on the NHS, I’d like some…

A few of my favs…

Andy Tug straight in with a Top Trump:

White House roof - last day of the Trump administration!
Nutty

The Republican party evacuation, the original Snakes and Ladders...
Buster

No need to rush. Dewey & Louie will be along soon.
Hydromet

I'm sorry, the Guinness book of records can't officially recognise it, they're not clowns and it's not a Mini Minor..
Cavuman

Having enjoyed unqualified success in stuffing 19 clowns into a Mini Cooper, the Ring Master goes for the World Record in a Huey.
Chu Chu

Everyone in France was in the Resistance; everyone in the picture was on the last helicopter out of Saigon.
Kiltrash

Well one of you must know how to fly it...
But the winner and (I think) first time recipient of the CST is...

Grummaniser

"Don't all push at once - there'll be another one along in a minute"
Well done, I’m clinging to my chimney pot awaiting a passing Chinook to shuttle it along to you – Hueys are thin on the ground – or even in the air – around here…

Mine might have been “suspicions were growing that there were more adults living at No 47 than had been declared on their Council Tax return…”
