As aircraft become more complex, the crewing requirement expanded to include pilot, co-pilot, navigator, carpenter, sailmaker and team coach. Fortunately the absence of engines meant that they didn't have to accommodate an engineer too...
Bloggs imagined being a Co-Pilot meant having some of the less attractive duties but in this case he really did consider it a bit much.
