Good show Carruthers, very impressive. Just a pity we have no way of delivering it to the enemy.

Hmmm, on here it's a bit unclear if you have to cut the blue or red wire wire first. I suggest we retire to the mess and let the lower ranks sort it out. I've got a few left over from the last 'push' I can afford to lose.

Well according to my map, the gunners were supposed to be aiming for an enemy fortification called the "Flowerpot". Obviously some sort of misunderstanding here. I'll have the lot put on a charge. Sorry about your Gardenias, Fotherington.

So your plan is to pull our chaps back, let the enemy advance and retake their position. We wait for a couple of them to sit on this bench here for a smoke and a rest and then set this off? I think that may just work! They'll never know what hit them!

Regardless of that, how can we tell the colour in a Black & White photo?

Cunning idea Carruthers, sending some flowers to the Hun. I hope the timer allows them to read the card first though.

Quote per TIEW: - Good show Carruthers, very impressive. Just a pity we have no way of delivering it to the enemy.

"Ah, but I have a cunning plan. We paint this object to look like a marrow, and Carruthers will deliver it in his wheelbarrow to the enemy lines. If he wears his Christmas Elf outfit they will never suspect that he is an officer of the British Army."

[BTW, how do you get these quote panels to work?]

[Penny Washers,

It is with the greatest trepidation that I (for the first time) offer computer advice, always having had to ask for it before. But assuming you mean the "blue quotation box", then swipe your cursor over the text involved, it should turn blue. On the RH end of the row of logos above "Quick Reply" box, you should find a little rectangular "page of text" one. Click on that.

Your text in question should now have at the front and back "quote"... "/quote" (may appear in upper or lower case).

Try it. Send it. Should work. Happy New Year. Danny].
