Or maybe...
Could BASSA be concerned about the outcome of the court case and the strike vote, and are leaking this "result" in order to try and gain some much needed leverage in the closing stages of negotiations?
Its a tactic that has been used before. Its just an alternative view point.
My personal expectation of outcome is a reduced yes vote, lower turn out, but a significant number voting yes to teach BA a lesson, but with the intention of still working.

Yes, but the way the original question was put was asking if people that didnt vote counted towards the no vote, which it isnt.
Non voters dont count, in any way, towards the result.

I still however believe that the leak is true, but its interesting that no numbers have been leaked with it. That could suggest its a small majority vote. Anyway, no doubt we'll find out for sure on Monday.

Our Union, Unite paid for the legal costs to pursue this action, approaching £1.2Million.
British Airways have also spent several million pounds defending their position.

This is all getting rather boring. It doesn't matter if BASSA win the ballot. It doesn't matter if BA lose the court case.
BA are not going to back down, and it is up to individual cabin crew to decide whether or not they want to bungy jump without a rope.
All of this posturing is just a preface to BA dotting the i's and crossing the t's on a new era for the company in which it can thrive without the millstone of BASSA hanging around its neck.
I only hope the cabin crew look to the future and find someone who wants to help them negotiate their share of the profits when BA climbs out of this mire of gloom caused by Malone and her cronies.
I would suggest that this PCC mob may be worth a second look.

I understood this was an independent Electoral organisation? Do they leak results?

From the bassa e-mail yesterday
``We have a strong case, and that’s why we decided to pursue the action taken, but will we receive that justice? Nobody knows, especially after the injunction of our December ballot.``
Did i read this as ..`we are right the judges are wrong``??

Bassa Big Time Losers
Well done Judge. Common sense prevails. Unite lose big time. They must be delighted to have wasted £1, 200,000 on their so called top flight lawyer. Where now Bassa - the bankruptcy courts?
Any strike will now be a waste of time - coffee smelling time.

Well who'd have thought it. BA management are allowed to run the company, not the union!
Due to lack of negotiations last year, the union are now reaping what they didn't sow
