Standard tower design used widely in Europe too with only a secondary radar head on it ie no primary head; I've seen that at civil airports in Cyprus and the Canaries but long sleeved sweater would indicate somewhere colder than either of these.

My Transport Command guess unlikely, since a photograph of that era would have a different hue; I have many, but none of golf. I suspect home turf from The Bear. Not Soesterberg, radar does not match. Does the golfer look like a Limburger?

Golf? I thought that the chap in the photograph was throwing the hammer!

I believe that there is a Golfists establishment close to Eindhoven airfield.

Golf range Welschap is quite close to the old Eindhoven airport and the old Control tower.
But that is not the airport we are looking for now.

If it was hammer throwing I certainly would have said Scottish sports!
