Speke, I imagine during Becher's Brook.
|
Blimey. How did you find that ?
Your throttles. |
Thanks. Noted AQ460 and worked from there. Former Squadron Commander had been a Sabre pilot, perhaps on 234. Speke https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....b0300841a7.jpg
buildings were remarkable. To bed now, but not without this which my logbook tells me I have visited once. No memory of the visit. Nearby very impressive World Heritage Site worth a look, reflectively perhaps. |
Morning all.
That seems to be a small airfield. I assume not UK. |
Positive answer. This is not a UK field. Very busy, apparently, in its own country, and there are plenty more nearby. My solitary trip was by Aztec, and the nearest field from my logbook was in a military VIP machine.

Oops, sorry, our messages overlapped there. Neewhere near Bath, then :)
|
Are we in France ?
|
reflectively perhaps |
Last two, yes and yes. Shame about Bath, one of my favourite places. Watch this space for future efforts!
|
Does "Last two" refer to my two posts or "mirrors or water" ?
|
For clarity, yes to France and yes to one of mirrors or water.
|
Thank you.
Near Versailles possibly. Toussus le Noble looks hopeful. |
Very hopeful indeed. Has been active for a long time. Useful field, as was Leavesden in relation to London before cinematography took over. All yours.

|
What an intriguing guess.
A long way from Woomera though. Northern hemisphere. |
Newcastle UK NCL. EGNT Open House if correct |
I wonder what gave that away.
OH |
I shall be more circumspect in future.
