First thought was Italy but now going for Ahlhorn.

dook 21st Nov 2018 15:55

We're not in Germany either.

dook 21st Nov 2018 16:14

Sorry but not there either.

dook 21st Nov 2018 17:02

Do tell us more....

dook 21st Nov 2018 17:49

It would be a good idea to leave the European mainland.

dook 21st Nov 2018 17:55

Not such a good idea.

dook 21st Nov 2018 19:02

But we are in the UK.

kaikohe76 21st Nov 2018 21:13

A long shot, but could it be Tangmere?

Shackman 21st Nov 2018 21:14

High Ercall?

dook 22nd Nov 2018 08:59

Neither, but Tangmere is moving in the right direction.

Positive I posted 'Langley' yesterday evening but for some reason my post didn't appear.

dook 22nd Nov 2018 11:38

sycamore 22nd Nov 2018 11:39

RAF Ford...? ...OH if correct..

dook 22nd Nov 2018 11:44

Too far east.

This airfield is very active.

nvubu 22nd Nov 2018 11:53

Goodwood ?

dook 22nd Nov 2018 12:02

I hope my above posts drive you to the right county - and Goodwood isn't active.

Would you all like a big clue ?

longer ron 22nd Nov 2018 12:33

Lasham ? or perhaps Hartfordbridge ?

dook 22nd Nov 2018 12:41

Lasham finds the right county but it's an active RAF airfield. Now go.....

longer ron 22nd Nov 2018 12:45

Odiham then I guess - looked too big in your photo LOL

OH if correct

dook 22nd Nov 2018 12:50

Bingo. Odiham was a forward repair unit.

The photograph was taken shortly after D day.

OH has been called.
