I visited the place in 1975 when, as an instructor at RAF Valley, I took a group of students on an exchange visit to the RoAF. A very illuminating experience in those days of Chauchesku!!

RIP - I suggest a thread somewhere for this - we live and acknowledge each other in an internet age - thank you Regdep

I knew of RegDep for only a short while. How extremely sad. RIP Heikki.

As a mark of respect, I'm sure that all here would know that RegDep would have soon identified my last as Nanaimo Airport on Vancouver Island.

Perhaps one of his longer term friends would care to carry on the challenge.
