Sod it - I had that one lined up as a future challenge.

I know exactly what it is, so I'll hold back and give everyone else a chance.

There's an irony there too, which I will reveal later.

Ton & Richard - I see you are on line.

Cheers.

I can't believe that this has been up all yesterday evening and this morning.

I am sure that it's the photographic version of the Northrop Delta, built under licence by Vickers Canada.

It was the gear of this aeroplane which looked so familiar in Graemes' earlier challenge, since they share the same lineage. The Delta led me to the Northrop Gamma.

Your control. My logic is simpler...both images came from a book devoted to early Northrop aircraft.

Morning/g'day.

Thanks Graeme - here's a similar idea but from a different part of the world (and it's on the web):

The nosewheel is a long way forward and the wheel arch is very unusual, reminiscent of the Meteor, but I don't see two cannons on the front fuselage.

Google says "provision for four 20 mm cannon" but were they ever fitted?

Stop asking hard questions...

Back to my original thought.

Is it a trainer version of the Meteor (T7)?
