Morning all,
Is it a Rumpler C.III ?
The C.I appears to more of a sesquiplane, I don't think they buit any II's and the C.IV had elliptical tips on the lower wings. I think that one III had a different engine fitted for an altitude attempt.
Helluva day yesterday, couldn't get any free time at all.
Back to work now, so OH in the unlikely event of it being correct!

e-mail received Mate - thank you.
The challenge is not a Rumpler or AEG or Aviatik.
You all know it's German, so all you have to do is add something as per:
Germanxx.

Thanks LM....your clue gave me the name, but the tough bit would have been the model number..I had ruled out Germania largely based on photo's of aircraft I could find! Not really sure I deserve the "win".
Ok, stand-by.......

Doesn't look armed, more like built for speed.
Civilian I bet.

Looks like a two-seater as well.
