Thanks Graeme.

As a jet man I wouldn't have lived that down.

Have to go out for forty minutes - back soon.

Ahhh....the camelion of manufacturers. This was an AviaQuiz challenge from about two years ago...I think. In the end there were about 3-4 different manufacturers for what was basically the same aeroplane...

I'll start with possibly the Vargra Kachina?...otherwise known as 2150A?

According to Aerofiles it started with Morriesy and his 2000 and 2150. I thought there were more...?

My encyclopaedia has it under several names too.

If I'de known it was on Aviaquiz I wouldn't have put it up.

C'est la vie.

All yours AGAIN.

Thanks mate...
The external paintwork seems to fit the Morriesy photo from Aerofiles?

Moving on..."Mr Jet man"...

Early cannular combustion chambers. German?

No. Thinking about it (and I lecture this stuff) maybe a Nene or such.

It also appears to be straight-winged.

The RR Nene had nine combustion chambers, which this one seems to have.

Sorry, didn't see your last post.

That "Whittles" it down a bit.

British then?

LM, you would not believe my rushed panic to post! I just logged on and knew the pic when I saw it (unless Graeme comes on and bursts my bubble!) but the thread looked like it was getting close.
