Bonjour
Sorry ,this is not the name ...
This pretty plane was built in Argentina ,designed by an Italian engineer ,who designed before and after the war in Italia some light planes.
I can't find anything about it on the w.w.net.
My only source is " Aviation Magazine "avions en 1951" ".
It should be in the Jane's of 1950-1952 ...
May I give the name ,to allow the play going on ????

Hi Richard...would the designer by Paolini or possibly Frati? The only other possibility I can find is the Turbay T-1....but I can't find a picture.
If there is no connection to any of those I don't have any other suggestions....

An Adriano Mantelli design, based on the Alaparma Baldo? Or a Motorised version of the PM-12 glider? I guess if its not on the net, and its certainly not in any of my books, thats as far as I can go!

I would agree with skytrain. I had just come here to suggest Mantelli after finding a picture of the Baldo in one of my older books. It looks quite different to this aircraft but the general description of the designers circumstances is a perfect fit.
Brick wall time for me, again.

I just found a sketch of the Mantelli AM.6, and that could be it.

ton,
I looked at that yesterday, but dismissed it because of the way the booms joined the wings. It is, of course, a sketch so maybe I was stupid not to try it.
You might be the winner................
