Why mate?

We have had all sorts of things on the thread, including projects which never flew, hypothetical designs, unmanned balloons, UAVs etc.

I draw the line at model aircraft.

I would have no problem with that. And I think we have gnawed the bones of UAVs and missiles quite bare, anyways. Either way is fine with me.

Projects that were were meant or designed to carry a pilot would be legal game under the proposed rule. But as I said, either way is fine.

Not an unmanned Yakovlev.

I am happy to go along with Martins' suggestion.

However, before we change the rules I feel we should solicit the views of the other regular players first.

Do you agree?

Of course, I agree.

Would you call yours a ducted fan? Funny, but I flipped it upside down, and it looks more plausible that way. Go figure…..

I'm getting too soft in my old age.

The photo is not flipped.

Back to you.

Well. Not too soft and not too old…...

Agree that you picture is cropped from a launch situation to the left, but most of the similar pictures in the web are heading right.

Moment…...

In the meantime Martin, I think you can expect at least RD and myself to comply with your suggestion.
