Bonjour à vous Richard.

Sorry for my late response - I have been teaching.

The Voisin with 37-mm Vickers automatic cannon - quite something for the year.

The thread is yours.

Morning all.

Last weekend I was watching "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid".

Don't you just love those sepia-tinted pics from long ago. So I've doctored this one, from a long time ago, a little.

Morning LM,

Is it the the DePischoff Aviette of about 1921 ?

What a rare little bugger!! I can't find any more about this curious little biplane, all searches are somewhat hampered by it's name (if that's correct) as it implies that he should be pedalling it!

Hold that! I just found a photo in the Empire State Aeroscience Museum, referring to it as the DePischoff Flying Motorcycle, but it's been fitted with a VW engine and there are several other differences, it turns out to be a replica and there was a Virus on the linked photo site too!

I'm off in a few minutes, so Open House please, if you agree with my conclusions!

Good Challenge LM

Hi LM,

"How you get that?"

I found your photo here, but I was suspicious of the name!

New design project: Aerobatic ultralight biplane

and the replica here (not the "rides.webshots" website that gave me the virus!!

15DePischoffFlyingMotorcycle

Off now! so Open House Please, departure delayed by rain in fact it was Pisching down"
