Bonjour à tous from the sunny Bretagne.

I think it could be the Fuetterer-Schoettler I , built in 1925 at Lunghwa (China)

Hello

Sorry ,it's not Italian.

Btw , I like (love) those old "year-books" :
I just receive today (found trough ebay) the Aviation Magazine Special 1951 ,something like a very poor man's Jane's 1951 ,for only 20 €.
Last winter ,the Jane's 1948 for 85 € ,from ...South Africa !
All this began with the 1955 Observer's ( certainly the best Observer's from 1941 to 1993) I got in 1959 .

The challenge is in some books and on the WWW.:Good luck

Richard

Hi Richard

Those floats seem very short. I'm guessing therefore that this is a short fuselaged machine?

Good afternoon RR - now I don't feel alone.

There's something else about the floats as well.
Thay are dead ringers for the ones on the Sirius.

Evening Richard,

Could it be the LFG V-19 Submarine based floatplane ?? Some references call it the Stralsund V.19 from where LFG were based.

I can only find a three-quarter rear view, but the cowling and floats look right, from your front view, I'd say it was a rotary engine and the V-19 had a Oberursel UII rotary. Presumably, the short floats would be so that it can be packed into its small container.

Got to go now, so if it's correct, please declare Open House.
