I have seen this somewhere, but can't think where!!!

The aircraft behind marked Special is interesting...what looks like a swept parasol wing?

Impressive powers of observation and magnification skills! Never noticed, I was too busy trying not to go over the lines with the paintbrush!

It is American. (Nice shot of the Lightning mate. Now there's a special name for that shock wave effect due to water vapour, isn't there?)

Hi Ken. I can't discern if the background plane says "Spirit" or "Special"? No idea what that is.

Here's a photographic clue. The name is also on the side so maybe your high powered magnifier can read it.

Got another clue. Try this...

Two words. First word..a type of wood purportedly used in the world's largest flying-boat (although I have read that this is a myth?). Second word...a type of motor car. An enclosed two-door type with only one or two seats.

It's the Prandtl-Glauert expansion rule.

LM, never assume! No its not a P&W engine....its a Garrett (now Honeywell) TPE.331.
